Our Founder
OUR MISSION
Through a safe and nurturing environment of Aloha, Ke Kula `O Ho`omakuapono strives to empower children to be confident, creative shapers of their future. We focus on the whole being bringing and teaching balance in all areas of their lives.
OUR GOALS
Academic
A Progressive Education with a focus on farm-based, experiential learning program making learning fun, embodied and lifelong.
Linguistic
Develop high levels of oral and written proficiency in both Hawaiian and English while also being exposed to other languages in the older grades.
Cultural
Foster positive cross-cultural perspectives by infusing our curriculum with Hawaiian culture, Aloha, and a strong foundation, preparing them to thrive anywhere in the world.
OUR VISION
At Ke Kula 'O Ho'omakuapono we believe every child has a right to an education which lays the foundation for a better world. Through our bilingual Hawaiian education program, farm based learning rooted in Hawaiian cultural values and the most effective learning modalities, our students will embrace the concepts of Aloha ia`u iho, Aloha kekahi I kekahi a me Aloha `āina. A love and respect of self, others and our environment, positively contributing globally in an ever changing world.
